Calvin and Hobbes?
One of my Humanities professors uses Calvin and Hobbes in his philosophy class. The question he asks at the beginning of the course and the end of the course are the same: Can a boy really be friends with a stuffed tiger?
Of course, at the end of the course, his pupils are expected to sound scholarly and cite various references and philosophers that they have learned and memorized over the course.
I wonder if you go to my college. That'd be kind of cool. ^_^
